Hi, I’m Julius — the voice behind Fit Pulse Wellness.
About me: I was born in Lithuania, but half of my life I lived in Ireland, where I now call home. Sports have always been part of my life — from basketball and volleyball as a kid, to martial arts, wakeboarding, and gym training as a teen and adult years. Movement was always there — but so were the ups and downs.
For years, I battled with the “party” lifestyle. I’d build myself up through fitness and discipline, only to get dragged back down again. And as a result of that, I had to face my share of health challenges. The real turning point came when I was diagnosed with a pre-cancerous condition. That was the wake-up call which I couldn’t ignore.
I made a choice: to go completely sober, to take control of my life, and to commit to living longer, stronger and happier — not just for me, but for my family. My kids are my biggest motivation. I want to see them grow, support their dreams, and be the kind of dad who leads by example.
These days, I’m just a regular dad with a busy schedule: 5am gym sessions, 9–5 work, evenings driving the kids to football, gymnastics, or acting school, and weekends filled with matches and BBQs. If there’s time, maybe a quick round of golf or a game on the PS5. Life isn’t perfect — but I’ve learned that consistency matters more than perfection.
This blog is my way of sharing what’s worked for me — from fitness routines to natural remedies, nutrition, and mindset shifts. I’m not a doctor or a health professional. What you’ll find here comes from my own journey — real experiences, lessons learned through research, trial and error, and a daily commitment to becoming better.
